The tapes and release notes for beta 3.1 patch kits have shipped to
selected customers.  I plan to monitor the results for a few more weeks
prior to signing off the 3.1 patch update.

Each kit (part #3327-0000) consists of one each:

 - 3.1 Patch Distribution Tape  #3328-0000 (rev 2)
 - 3.1 Patch Release Notes      #3329-0000 (rev 9)

You should already have received a kit for your own use.  The list of
customers who have received the patches is attached.  Please speak with
myself or Bill Campbell before you load these patches on any other
system.  Let me know if you have any technical questions.
