2/20/87 Mr. David Le Vin National SemiConductor 2900 SemiConductor Dr. Santa Clara, CA 95051 David, On 2/4 we sent a package containing the patch tape you requested to the following address, which is the one we have on file for you: Mr. David Levine 690 Kifer Road Sunnyvale, CA 94086 That package was returned to us (received today) marked "Return to sender, can not locate". I have been unable to reach you lately at the number on record, 408-721-5317. When I got the returned package I tried again to call. Then I tried to get assistance at the main corporate number. Finally, I reached the Records Departments. Adding further to my confusion, I discovered that they list your name as "Le Vin"; I apologize if I have been misspelling your name all this time. Unfortunately, they do not have an address, department, or mail-stop listed for you. They gave me the address of the Shipping Department, to which I have sent this package. Along with the patch tape, I have included installation instructions (which are just now available in a rough format). Since this patch release is now entering a semi-formal beta test, I will need your feedback on the installation process and the effect, if any, the patches may have on your applications. Sorry about the delay. To prevent any confusion in the future, could you please give me another telephone number where I can leave messages for you? Also, I need a full address with a mail stop where we can send packages in the future. If you have any problems with the tape, please call LMI Dispatch at (617) 458-7438. Please direct any correspondence to our new address: LISP Machine Inc. 175 Cabot St. Lowell, MA 01854 Yours, Keith Corbett Manager, Software Support, LMI
